The Pakistan Nation Marks Defence Day Honouring Armed Forces’ Sacrifices
The remembrance of Pakistan National Defence Day 2025, in Pakistan and around the world has two significances. One is to reflect on the glorious monumental victories achieved by the Pakistan Armed Force, such as winning the May 2025 war. The other is to continue to honour and remember the ultimate sacrifice of the shaheed soldiers of the Pakistan armed forces, who laid down their life in defending their beloved motherland Pakistan, said Shazada Hayat President UICF (UK) and international community welfare campaigner.
September 6th, Pakistan’s Defence Day, was observed with deep pride and patriotism across the country and by the overseas Pakistani communities worldwide. The day stands as a powerful reminder of the courage and sacrifices of the Pakistan Armed Forces, who have laid down their lives to defend the nation’s sovereignty.

Shazada Hayat, said The significance of the day, is a time for reflection and gratitude. The patriotic Pakistani nation remembers and honours those martyrs who sacrificed their lives for their beloved motherland. The nation also expresses its sincere gratitude to each and every member of the Pakistan Armed Forces, who remain vigilant night and day in the air, on land, and at sea to defend and protect Pakistan. Shazada Hayat went on to say, The Pakistan military, is the very backbone of the nation. Pakistan is the Armed Force and the Armed Force is Pakistan. In just 78 years since its creation, Pakistan has developed one of the world’s most formidable fighting forces. While committed to peace and self-defence, the Armed Forces possess the capacity and determination to decisively respond to any threat. Any enemy of Pakistan would be making a catastrophic mistake if it underestimated this great nation.

Marking the occasion, Pakistanis across the world stood united saluting the Army, Navy, and Air Force, the nation’s pride and shield.
